The CITY CARE model embodies all Chicago City Soccer Club stands for. Through our passion for long term holistic development, soccer is used as a tool to develop a unique soccer community throughout the Chicagoland area.

We are CITY

As part of our ongoing staff development at CITY, we recognize that reflection is an essential component of growth, both individually and collectively. During the pandemic, when uncertainty was at its highest, our team took the opportunity to step back and truly evaluate what made Chicago City Soccer Club unique. Over a two-month period, we engaged in a series of intensive workshops, brainstorming sessions, and deep self-reflection exercises.

Through these challenging yet rewarding discussions, it became clear that our identity as a club is defined by the level of care we provide—not just on the field, but in every aspect of our organization. This realization led us to formalize our core values around four key pillars: Communities, Athletes, Relationships, and Ethos (CARE).

Communities
We are deeply rooted in the neighborhoods we serve, striving to create an inclusive and accessible soccer environment for all.
Athletes
Every decision we make is centered around player development, ensuring each athlete has the support, coaching, and resources needed to reach their full potential.
Relationships
We foster meaningful connections between players, coaches, families, and staff, knowing that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful club.

Our club culture is built on integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that CITY remains a leader in youth development.

Our boys academy teams are proud to have recently joined the ECNL RL as the only club in the city of Chicago to boast this prestigious accomplishment.

Our youth programs support the future of our USL Women's (USLW) and USL Men's (USL2) Pre Professional programs in partnership with Dutch Lions FC, as we provide a full player pathway for both girls and boys.

Chicago City is truly a club and not just a youth soccer program. The coaches understand what it is to be a football player and not just a place for your kid to play soccer on the weekend. Training includes teaching the game, sports psychology, diet, fitness. My older son came in as a U11 on the lowest team and worked his way up to the top team and is now playing for his high school. It is that kind of player development that City excels at. Player development takes time but if you want your son or daughter to improve their game, City is the best club in the area.
